DystoLabz is the home for our professional and experimental work. We work across art, blockchain, and onchain formats — blending visual culture with technical process.

With a focus on punks reimagined as Phunks, we build on ideas from the most iconic punk and alt-punk projects — pushing them further through new combinations, expanded traits, and extensions of characters and concepts that were never fully realized. The goal is to create the most evolved, current-gen expression of the format — shaped by what came before, but reworked to go beyond it.

We're taking the best from alt-punk derivatives and punk history and building on it thoughtfully. Instead of just remixing, we focus on refining — addressing gaps, improving the structure, and exploring new possibilities. We've refined the original format by extending it, removing ineffective combinations, and adding new traits, characters, and bases focused on animals instead of just humans to create a more flexible and dynamic framework.

This is our take on the format — honoring its legacy while evolving it into something new, focused on creating a more refined, forward-thinking expression. Our goal is to create something that respects the past but is fully tuned to the future — a new chapter in the evolution of the format, pushing it in unexpected directions while staying true to its core.
